Programming 101

This year I plan on teaching object oriented programming using the Alice language:

It might seem goofy to anyone with years of experience building applications, but I believe it will be a very easy way to introduce basic concepts like objects, control structures, methods, and more.

I've been playing around with it for a while now so I can at least teach a class on it. Who knows, perhaps by the time we're done I'll be showing them how to make iPhone apps!
